In case you didn’t go on Snapchat yesterday, Gwyneth Paltrow was in Toronto to launch her organic Juice Beauty line at Holt Renfrew. Naturally, we had to find out how she kept her hair perfectly straight in the midst of a southern Ontario frizz-inducing heat wave.

“She actually has curly hair around the hair line and a mix of kinky and straight hair throughout,” says hairstylist Justin German, who did Gwyneth’s hair for the event. “She wanted one of her go-to looks, a centre part and smooth and straight blowout.”

German used the Pantene Pro-V Ultimate 10 BB Cream, blow drying her hair with a large round brush and followed up with a flat iron.

Gwyneth is not on team hairspray, so in order to avoid flyaways, German used a wax, and finished by spraying hair with an anti-humidity spray. We love Oribe’s version.

The ever important GP verdict of the look?  “She took one look at the end and said, ‘thanks love it guys great job.’”
