This just in: Céline Dion is the newest celebrity spokesperson to join L’Oréal Paris. The French-Canadian superstar will be the ambassador for the brand’s Excellence Crème Hair Colour range (her shade is “D Dark Blonde,” in case you were wondering). The campaign will launch in Canada mid-May.

“L’Oréal Paris has a longstanding history of supporting women in their journey to fulfill themselves according to their own rules and desires,” said Pierre-Emmanuel Angeloglou, global brand president for L’Oréal Paris in a statement. “Signing Céline Dion as the newest member of the L’Oréal Paris family builds on our mission of aligning with spokeswomen who are strong, self-empowered, assertive, diverse and inclusive.”

“I’m at a stage in my life where I’m excited to use my voice to empower others to feel beautiful, confident, and to learn to embrace themselves,” said Dion of her role.

It’s shaping up to be a big year for the singer: She will end her current Caesars Palace Las Vegas residency, which began eight years ago back in 2011, this June, and plans to release a new album in late 2019.
