First, the good news: Today, Glossier launches their debut fragrance from genius perfumers Frank Voelkl (you’ll know his work from Le Labo’s ubiquitous Santal 33) and Dora Baghriche, who created YSL’s Mon Paris. Unlike traditional scents, which highlight different notes from first whiff through to dry-down (i.e. when it’s been on your skin for a few hours), Glossier You is designed so the top notes — sparkling pink pepper and earthy iris root — and base notes — warn ambrette, salty ambrox and musk — are unchanging. What does that smell like in real life?  “You know how the neck of your sweater feels after you’ve worn it all day?” says Weiss. “Nuzzly and warm, sort of sexy, but still comfy. I wanted that, bottled.”

The bad news: The U.S. Department of Transportation considers fragrance to be a hazardous material, so it cannot be shipped by air. This means if you live at one of these postal codes, you’ll need to make your way to the NYC store or find another Canadian postal code to ship to, in order to get your hands on this scent.
