Dior celebrated their new La Collection Privée fragrance, Gris Dior, this week with a star-studded West Hollywood event and a temporary immersive exhibition, The Grey Zone. Grey, the favourite colour of the house on Avenue Montaigne in Paris, is a fitting name for the unisex scent, which reflects a spirit of diversity and authenticity.

The perfume itself is a combination of floral and woody notes that make it both a unique and versatile, just like the group of international talent who are representing the brand as faces of the scent including Jenna Ortega, Maya Hawke, Thuso Mbedu, Joseph Quinn, Fai Khadra, Orelsan and Liu Yu Xin, as well as the five artists collaborating with Dior and who are presenting their work at the pop-up—Ben Johnston, Thomas Trum, Scale Collectif, Milleece and Andrés Reisinger.

The Grey Zone, a temporary immersive exhibition which is inspired by Gris Dior and showcases the scent in very different and surprising visual, sound and digital ways, invites visitors to take a deep dive into the Dior world and honours the house’s long standing friendships with artists from across the globe. Johnston, a Toronto-based graphic artist who painted a mural for the show, also designed a limited number of special edition Gris Dior pieces that are available exclusively for sale at the pop up.
