There’s a lot of people to compare seventeen-year-old Zara Larsson to: She has the voice of Rihanna, the face of a young Adele and the Instagram prowess of a Jenner. Her come-to-fame story is like that of a Swedish Carrie Underwood: After winning Sweden’s Got Talent in 2008, she went on to massive success across Scandinavia. Now, she’s teaming up with Clinique to create an interactive music video for her incredibly catchy single, “Lush Life”—and that’s an industry first.

The Hiro Murai-directed campaign remixes the song across four genres: acoustic, dance, country and pop, with a different shade of Clinique Pop Lip Colour Primer to accompany each mood – bare (think: no-makeup makeup), vixen, bold and sweet, respectively.

“The entire idea was inspired by the truth that women change their lipstick to express a different emotion or side of themselves or use it to project a certain feeling,” says Melissa Knapp, senior vice president global creative for Clinique. “We translated that idea into an interactive video, so that viewers could change the lipstick and therefore change Zara – seamlessly.”
