My love for Jo Malone scents started about 6 years ago. I was doing a short internship with the beauty department of More magazine and calling in summer scents for a fragrance special. When they arrived I wasted no time sniffing them all and admiring the gorgeous bottles. This was this first time Jo Malone Nectarine Blossom and Honey and I had met and the official start of my love affair with the scent and the brand.   I went back to the beauty director’s office daily to sniff it some more and never grew tired of the floral notes — to me it smelled like my childhood summers in the country. I think the beauty director got the hint and as an internship departing gift, gave me a bottle of the
sweet floral scent. I spritzed away happily, and the scent has been in my regular rotation ever since. This means quite a lot considering I have a collection of about 20 fragrances I choose from, and rarely wear the same scent more than two days in a row. I’ve sniffed other Jo Malone concoctions. I love most, but I haven’t found one I loved quite as much as the Nectarine Blossom and Honey until now. One whiff of
Plum Blossom and I was sold. Light, fruity plum with a musk and sandalwood base – it’s a perfect all-year-around scent. And one of the best parts about Jo Malone scents is the ability to easily mix and match them to create your own
customized fragrance (my fave mix? Wild Bluebell and French Lime Blossom). The bottle is pretty on your vanity, too. I might not have a
signature scent with so many to pick from, but I think I’m starting to have a signature brand when it comes to fragrances.
