M.A.C Cosmetics Studio Fix 24-Hour Smooth Wear Concealer ($28) This long-wearing concealer strikes a delicate balance between second-skin-like fluidity and mattifying full coverage. Gently dot the doe-foot applicator on imperfections and blend with your preferred tool: finger, sponge or brush – or, if you’re really serious, all three.
CONCEALER $30 AND OVER
Marc Jacobs Beauty Accomplice Concealer & Touch- Up Stick ($42) Available in 17 shades, this creamy stick concealer seamlessly covers up dark circles and blemishes without creasing in the slightest. “A few dabs go a long way with this product,” said Rawan Attia from Mississauga, Ont. “What I loved most was how long it lasted.”

Annabelle Cosmetics Free Spirit Eyeliner in Be Bold ($10) This Canadian-made waterproof liner is designed with a flexible skinny tip that won’t drag on skin and “makes application precise, clean and fuss-free,” said Elaine Seto from Toronto.
RED LIPSTICK UNDER $25
M.A.C Cosmetics Lipstick in Proud to Be Canadian ($24) Although jurors were divided on its matte texture – which has a tendency to be drying – this unapologetically red lipstick is a nod to the brand’s Canadian roots and stays put on your lips. “There was very little transfer to my teacup,” said Shana Terry from Oshawa, Ont.
RED LIPSTICK $25 AND OVER
Lise Watier Rouge Intense Suprême in Mary ($28) Not only does its ultra-elegant magnetic case open and snap shut in the most satisfying of ways, but this deep-red lipstick is also flattering on every skin tone and glides on with ease.
