Just bright

By Karen Kwan Come spring, based on what we’ve seen here at MFW you’ll be wanting to add some fresh, bold colours to your makeup palette. Too intimidated by bright shades? Here’s what I learned from Amélie Ducharme, artistic director for makeup at MFW and Cover Girl makeup pro on how to pull them off with ease:
* When wearing bright eye shadows, like the pink eye shadow seen on the
Lovas runway here, a nice way to add depth to your eyes is to line your eyes with a brown or burgundy eye shadow (smudge the liner to soften the look). “It helps to keep your makeup from looking like rabbit eyes, and it looks great on fair skin tones,” says Ducharme.
