Angelina Jolie’s latest campaign for Guerlain features the humanitarian actress in her rural Cambodian home. Cambodia was selected for its connection with Jolie, who runs a foundation (named after her first son, Maddox, who was born in the country), dedicated to conserving its environment and alleviating extreme poverty.

“I feel at home in the jungle,” says Jolie. “There are so many beautiful scents and flowers that you only find here. There’s jasmine everywhere. But most of all there are the unique sounds of the rainforest. You wake up and you hear that it is alive.”

Directed by three-time Oscar winner Emmanuel Lubezki, the video opens with the line, “Wild thing, I think I love you.” The title song, Wild Thing was originally written by Jolie’s uncle, Chip Taylor, before achieving international acclaim with The Troggs.

Launching August 15, the new Mon Guerlain Eau de Parfum Intense combines vanilla, jasmine sambac, sandalwood and lavender to create a sensual, vibrant fragrance. The perfume was created by Guerlain perfumers Thierry Wasser and Delphine Jelk as a tribute to femininity that is “enigmatic, wild and free.”

“L’Eau de Parfum Intense conveys the irresistible spirit of women and their sensuality that sits outside the normal visual clichés,” says Wasser.
