RED CARPET DON’TS AND MUST-HAVE STYLE TIPS WILL BE REVEALED AT THE ELLE SHOW

First Annual Show Welcomes Steven Cojocaru and Tim Gunn as Guest Speakers

For anyone who has ever wondered why one particular celebrity can never seem to pull off the right Oscar dress, or why certain Hollywood stars always look flawless even while grabbing groceries, celebrity fashion critic/red carpet regular Steven Cojocaru will have the answers. Mr. Cojocaru will speak at the first annual ELLE Show on Saturday, April 26th, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. The ELLE Show runs from April 25th – 27th at the Direct Energy Centre, Exhibition Place in Toronto. Mr. Cojocaru will dish on all facets of celebrity style, from why there are so many red carpet faux pas to the stars that have the best style (and the ones that don’t). His seminar will be highlighted by Hollywood beauty secrets, celebrity anecdotes, plastic surgery secrets and his own personal fashion and beauty philosophies. The following day, visitors will have the opportunity to learn crucial fashion do’s and don’ts from style guru Tim Gunn of Project Runway fame. Mr. Gunn’s new show, Tim Gunn’s Guide to Style, recently began airing on Slice. He will speak on Sunday, April 27th at 1:00 p.m., offering tips on wardrobe essentials, how to shop and finding the right fit.

The ELLE Show brings the exciting, stylish and spirited feel of ELLE Canada to life. The show will offer a close up look at the latest trends in fashion and beauty through innovative areas and interactive features geared to inspire savvy fashionistas. In addition to the two celebrity seminars, show highlights will include nine high-impact fashion shows sponsored by L’Oreal Paris, ELLE Canada magazine, Nine West, Movado, Triumph Lingerie, Bikini Village and Las Vegas Tourism. Fashion and beauty experts will host seminars and demonstrations throughout the show, and fashion, accessories and beauty exhibitors will offer attendees the opportunity to see, try and buy.

“The ELLE brand connects with women on a very special level for fashion inspiration, beauty and health know-how and living life with spirit and style,” says Jacqueline Howe, Vice President, Transcontinental Media and publisher of ELLE Canada. “It is a natural extension that brings a truly interactive event for ELLE’s audience while supplying the fashion and beauty industry with the opportunity to directly communicate live and one on one.”
