SEXY SUMMER STYLES HEAT UP THE RUNWAY AT THE ELLE SHOW
The hottest looks for summer move from the pages of ELLE Canada to the runway at the first annual ELLE Show. The three-day consumer event, on from April 25 – 27, 2008 at the Direct Energy Centre, Exhibition Place, will feature five fashion shows showcasing the must-have styles of the season. All shows will take place on a specially constructed 60’ runway surrounded by video boards.

“Show attendees will get a first-hand look at some of the most important
trends of summer 2008.”
The ELLE Show’s featured fashion shows include:
• Canadian Designer show – featuring collections from Project Runway Canada winner Evan Biddell, and Project Runway Canada contestants Lucien Matis and Andrew Majtenyi
• “New Labels” – One of a kind fashions designed by Toronto Fashion Incubator designers
• “Sunshine to Sunset” – presented by Las Vegas Tourism, who commissioned Canadian designers Bustle to create 8 swimsuits that reflect Sin City. Other designers include Greta Constantine, Andy the Ahn, David Dixon and Wayne Clark.
• “Summer Fantasy” – presented by Bikini Village and Triumph, this sensual show will highlight the latest trends in intimate apparel and swimwear for men and women
• “ELLE Debuts” – signature looks from The Bay and Maison B
• “Timeless Classics” – showcasing Movado’s newest styles
Fashion show sponsors include Nine West, Las Vegas Tourism, Movado, Triumph Lingerie, Yves St. Laurent, L’Oreal Paris, Rowenta and Vins de Pays d’Oc.
The ELLE Show will also feature exciting seminars on the Main Stage, allowing
attendees to meet ELLE Canada beauty and fashion editors, and learn about
the hottest trends. Also on the Main Stage, stylist Lynn Spence will highlight
must-have fashion pieces and how to make them work for your body type. Lynn
Spence is presented by Winners.
