Ozone Oxygen Spa
This relatively new spa, which opened in Sept. 2005, is tucked away on a side street just off one of downtown's largest arteries, Barrington Street. It boasts the latest spa procedures not available before in Halifax, including ozone-enriched steam saunas. This treatment is a cleansing 35-minute private session in a fibreglass unit. Patrons undergo a special cleansing treatment hat involves infusing their skin with ozone. Sessions cost $45 plus tax.
Staff say that, over time, frequent ozone saunas will go well beyond the epidermis to detoxify organs such as the liver and kidneys.
Other treatments include special oxygen-infused arona therapies which pump 80% pure oxygen through tubes in your nose all the while relaxing in a big reclining chair. Clients notice they leave refreshed and alert. Check out their website for client testimonials!
