Before taking a plane to Montreal or Toronto for the latest in boots, take a detour and head over to John David's. It's likely he has the same labels as the larger city stores without the price of a plane ticket! This store has been around for a decade or so, and has pushed the envelope of this somewhat traditional little city. You will find stilettos or lower heeled styles -- not to mention fashion purses here. On any given day, you could find a teenager searching for a pair of ballet slippers, or a 75-year-old searching for slingbacks!
