Spa Ethos

I began with their Essential Retreat, a popular package that includes a one-hour facial, a manicure and a pedicure. From the moment you enter the warm atmosphere of the Intention Room, you’re taken on a peaceful journey of relaxation and pampering. Prices range from $50 for a manicure to $190 for the Essential Retreat (which I highly recommend) and $285 for a three-hour facial and body detox to truly purify your mind and body. And what better way to enjoy the rejuvenation of your spa treatment than by perusing the many stylish boutiques and appetizing restaurants found in Kitsilano. Spa Ethos hosts many local celebrities, but prides itself in treating everyone like a celeb, even kids! Unique to Spa Ethos is the Teens and Tweens program, inviting children eight and up to indulge in some of the special services they offer, such as Apricot Body Smoothies, Clear Complexion Facials or some funky Nail Art (I’m sporting some daisies on my toenails as I write this) -- and they even cater to birthday parties. Whether you’re in the mood for a relaxing massage or you want to detoxify and remineralize your body, Spa Ethos, voted the best day spa by Best of BC, has everything you could hope for and more. I highly recommend checking it out for yourself -- your mind and body will thank you.
