Relationship expert: Happily ever after

Q: Work has always come first with me, but now I feel that I need to focus on my relationships. I'm casually dating two guys. One is perfect husband material, but there is no huge spark between us. The other is a James Bond type: sexy, mysterious and hard to pin down. If I could be his Vesper Lynd, I'd get married tomorrow, but I'm not sure that's even possible with a man like that. Should I spend more time getting to know the other fellow, who is interested in developing something long-term, or should I have a wild fling with my James and see what happens? -- Tempted

Dear Tempted:
Of course you can live happily ever after, but not with your Bond man. He's a playboy, and playboys are not typically tripping over themselves to get to the altar - but that doesn't mean you should stop seeing him. Is living happily ever after what you really want right now? I'm not sure you know the answer to that question. You may think you want a relationship and a family, but you're also craving excitement and adventure. My feeling is that you're not ready to settle down just yet. Use this year to explore how you really feel. By the end of 2009, you'll be happy and settled with the man who makes you laugh the most. (My hunch is that it won't be your wild Mr. Bond.)
