6. What are you looking for in a mate?
A) Someone who shares your passions and has a good heart, a strong value system, and a hearty sense of humour.
B) Someone with a big enough trust fund to afford your dream wedding and your month-long honeymoon in Belize.
C) Someone with a pulse and a few strong sperm.

7. Your mom takes another swipe at your single status at dinner. What do you do?
A) Remind her that you have had a lot of dates but want a love affair as romantic as hers and your dad's was.
B) You aren't paying attention; you're surfing Martha Stewart's Weddings online for tips.
C) Say nothing; she's right -- you are an old maid.

How did you do?

Mostly As: Good for you; you're a healthy, marriage-minded maiden. With a focus on the meaning of the day and the partner with whom you will share it, you don't place unnecessary pressure on yourself or your relationships, instead opting to go with the flow of your romantic life and hold out for the best possible match. Think you are a sensible single? I do.

Mostly Bs: There is no denying it; you love weddings -- the dress, the diamond, the flowers -- but what about the marriage? Getting hitched is more than an evening in a white gown with a gorgeous veil; it's a lifelong commitment to another person. Until you find that special someone who becomes a bigger incentive that your bridesmaid dresses, it's best to keep your d-cut diamond a treasured daydream.

Mostly Cs: Weddings make you cry, but not for the right reasons. With a boatload of silly expectations and missed deadlines, you're in a constant state of self-doubt. Marriage is the merging or two lives into one, and the more convince yourself you need to take what you can get, the less likely you are to merge with someone who will suit your lifestyle or even meet someone because you are sending out the sign that you are desperate and miserable. Take a step back, relax, and remember, this isn't a competition; there is no race to getting down the aisle to the altar!
