SPA Reopened in December, the Guerlain Spa at the Trianon Palace Versailles is perfect for Marie Antoinette w annabes, offering art-deco-inspired treatment rooms and a two-hour facial featuring Orchidée Impériale (guerlainspa.com/trianon).

VINTAGE SHOP At Chezelle, an elegant little boutique, you can find YSL, Dior, the occasional Olivier Theyskens frock and, always, a discerning eye (Rue Condorcet).

MUSEUM
Tucked away in the ninth arrondissement, the Musée de la Vie Romantique used to belong to painter Ary Scheffer, whose salon was frequented by Turgenev, Chopin and Delacroix. Don’t miss the beautiful little tea salon in the garden (vie-romantique.paris.fr).

BAR
While the undiscriminating flock to Le Meurice, truly stylish drinkers frequent Bar Hemingway, bartender extraordinaire Colin Field’s jewel box of a bar at the Ritz (ritzparis.com).

CAFE Always sit upstairs at Café de Flore, where you just might find your­self drinking a “noisette” next to Catherine Deneuve or Sonia Rykiel (cafe-de-flore.com).

NIGHTCLUB Pop In, a Berlin bunker-style bar, attracts scenesters like Hedi Slimane and Nicolas Andreas Taralis and features live music three times a week (Rue Amelot).
