The dating app for people who hate everything

Misanthropes, meet Hater: A brand new dating app for people whose list of loathes is long.

Science says that people actually tend to form stronger bonds over shared dislikes than some mutual passion for labradors, artisan beers, and long walks on the beach, and that's sort of the premise behind the new app, launching February 8.

Founded by an ex-Goldman Sachs bro, the app lets you scroll through a list of common hates (or maybe loves if you're the worst) like vaping, fedoras, and paying extra for guac. You're then matched with other similarly inclined haters, and in theory, you're then set up for a lifetime of shared...hating?
