Shopping in St. Kitts
Save some stamina for off-resort shopping at the Caribelle Batik Factory, where local artisans demonstrate how they make the stunning fabrics you can buy there. You'll see a kaleidoscope of intense fuschias, bold oranges, dazzling emeralds and deep indigos in clothes that are pre-shrunk, in colours that won't fade. Check out the pretty sundresses, cute tanks and Ts, vibrantly coloured pillow casings and children's clothing; here, you're sure to find impressive and unique souvenirs for just about everyone on your list.

ATVing in the rainforest
When you tire of hunting down great finds in Basseterre's best shops, pack away your retail treasures and move your group to an off-roading adventure. Sign up with St. Kitts Quad Bike Tour for a guided tour through the rainforest on an ATV where you and your girls can splash through puddles, zoom over ruts and coast on tree-canopied trials.

Take a break -- and some scenic photos -- at Lambert's Estate, an 18th-century old sugar mill surrounded by sugar cane fields. There's a majestic mountain view on one side and a stunning vista of the Caribbean Sea on the other.

This tour offers a fun adventure in gorgeous surroundings; it's an experience you won't soon forget.
