Josh Duhamel will star in 'Scenic Route'.The 'Life As We Know It' actor is set to team up with Dan Fogler in the movie about two former college friends who become stranded in the desert while on a road trip. As they worry rescuers will never come, they begin to have heated physical and emotional fights.
The movie has been written by 'The Beaver's Kyle Killen while Kevin and Michael Goetz will direct.
Meanwhile, Josh has previously revealed he won't be reprising his role as Captain William Lenno in 'Transformers 4' and says the rest of the cast have no plans to return.
He said: ''I don't think anybody's doing it. I know Shia [LaBeouf] is not doing it. I don't think Tyrese [Gibson] or Rosie [Huntington-Whiteley] or anybody else is doing it. .
''Whenever these movies make that much money, they are going to make as many as they can. But I haven't heard anything about it. They haven't called me.
'Transformers 4' is due to be released in June 2014 with action star Jason Statham rumoured to be the new lead and plans being made for a second trilogy of films.
