On Day 3 of Paris Fashion Week Fall 2015, fashion features editor Lisa Guimond vouches for Balmain’s head-to-toe stripes (left) as best look of the day, while workflow editor Liz Guber can’t get enough of Lanvin’s swaggy red coat (right).

Liz’s favourite look: Lanvin

This coat, much like the entire collection, is equal parts boho and luxe. But what I love most is that it has swagger. And really, what more can you ask from a garment than to move so well, to drape so effortlessly and to take you from dreary city streets to the Moroccan landscape that inspired Alber Elbaz this season?

Lisa’s favourite look: Balmain

Talk about a time warp at Balmain. If ruffles, one-shouldered tops, palazzo pants and a colour palette that includes rich aubergine don’t scream ’90s, nothing does. But, Olivier Rousteing adds a clever elegance to his silhouettes, making otherwise dated pieces look fierce. The proportions in this look are spot on, and who doesn’t wish they could rock head-to-toe stripes?
