We just saw Klaxon Howl. That was hot and we’re seeing Pink Tartan tonight and Joe Fresh so we’re excited about those.
What spring 2012 trend are you looking forward to wearing?
I’m really enjoying jumpsuits still and sheer fabrics. I’m loving the faux fur and big over-accessorizing.
What do you love about Toronto Fashion Week?
Getting to see amazing designers and being inspired that hopefully one day I can be up there. And getting to drink champagne with my best friend Ashley.

What’s your favourite piece?
My Jimmy Choo for H&M necklace. It’s pretty punk and glam, which is quite my style.
What shows are you seeing today?
Both the Melissa Nepton and Krane shows.
What spring 2012 trend are you looking forward to wearing?
The eclecticism. This whole putting tribal meets preppy meets athletic wear. It’s everything about putting your own stamp on fashion. It’s not about following the rulebook anymore. It’s about using trends to make your own image.
What do you love about Toronto Fashion Week?
Probably the fact that this is one of the biggest years yet. It seems like Toronto Fashion is gaining more international recognition and I haven’t heard any negative things in terms of the shows and organization. I think it’s just going fabulously.

My shoes. They’re Chelsea Crew. I have them in blue as well.

I’m seeing the Holts show and I’m really excited to see the Gagnon show.
What spring 2012 trend are you looking forward to wearing?
I’m a pretty big vintage shopper so I look for anything that’s vintage inspired. I’m seeing a lot of floral patterns and I’m a huge floral fan so anything bright and floral, I’m excited to see.
What do you love about Toronto Fashion Week?
I think that we have a lot of talent here especially in the midst of what’s going on in the world so we’re becoming more a part of that and really showing what Toronto has to offer and it’s such a great city especially in the fall.

What’s your favourite piece?
It’s my Tye-dye shirt dress. It’s super comfortable and when you’re running around, you need to be comfortable at the same time and not restricted.
What shows are you seeing today?
The Tosca Delfina swimwear show. She has done a really good job this season. The swimwear is out of this world and this is her debut collection. This is her first time in Toronto as she’s based out of Milan so we’re excited to have her here.
What spring 2012 trend are you looking forward to wearing?
In the Spring, I always look forward to wearing more relaxed fits. A nice chino pant – classic. I’m really liking the palette this season, looking for those softer colours. I love nudes, hence the nude body suit underneath my dress.
What do you love about Toronto Fashion Week?
I like the community that it brings together and I like that it’s growing and the emphasis to bring out young creative talent is at the forefront these days. The fact that we’re in the downtown core is just a testament to that. It’s really putting a spotlight that we’re here to stay.
