NYFW live: Calvin Klein Fall 2014
It looks like a pint of Guinness, tastes like a cold brew, and is only available in one Canadian Starbucks location—but it's not on the secret menu. So what is this mystery drink launching RN in Canada?
It's nitro coffee, which in terms of coffee trends is 2016's answer to 2015's obsession with pour over (and apparently an extension of our obsession with cold coffee in general, which Starbucks says is actually a growing part of our morning coffee order, even in the winter).
So what is it, and how is not just cold brew? Well, it is cold brew in the sense that it's based on the same intial process (steeping coffee for 20 hours in cold water) but then things get science-y when they infuse it with nitrogen. This is key because it's crisp and cold without any ice added, excellent news for anyone who's ever hated how watered down the end of your iced coffee sometimes tastes.
Nitro cold brew is currently only available at one location in Canada (Brookfield Place in Toronto) but word on the street is that they'll be rolling it out at more locations A-to-the-SAP.

How Marvel-ous! According to E! News, Benedict Cumberbatch and his wife Sophie Hunter are going to have another Cumberbaby. The pair welcomed their first child, Christopher, just over a year ago in June 2015.
The couple walked last night's Doctor Strange red carpet in L.A. together. (Although with the draped dress Sophie, we can't see the slightest hint of a bump.)
...And, just because, here's Cumberbatch on Jimmy Kimmel.
And she wasn't the only celeb feelin' herself on the 'gram this week.
The royals are not known for overt displays of emotion (unless you're Princess Charlotte and there are balloons involved). Which is why you have to realllly read between the lines to see the touching way Kate Middleton payed tribute to Princess Diana today.
The Duchess of Cambridge (with husband) was in Manchester today, wearing a rather lovely checked Erdem frock coat. The pair had several engagements, but the one with the coat connection is a hospice that Princess Diana opened way back in 1991, wearing, you guessed it, a rather lovely checked frock coat.
And sure, Diana's was red and very shoulder-padded, but many royal watchers are reading this as Kate's little nod toward the legacy of her mother-in-law.
In related news, Kate's hair looked SO GOOD.
