Lara Stone thinned her eyebrows with scissors when she was little.

The 28-year-old model now takes extra special care of her appearance due to her job, but it hasn’t always been that way. She got tired of her bushy brows when she was growing up so took drastic steps to alter them.

“When I was little I decided to use scissors to shape my eyebrows. It’s probably better than plucking as at least it didn’t stop them from growing back,” she told the British edition of Marie Claire magazine. “They’re pretty pale naturally, so these days I tend to just leave them alone.”

Lara is now more careful about how she looks after her appearance.

She is known for her long blonde tresses, although they have caused her problems in the past. Finding the perfect way to care for them has had a dramatic impact on Lara.

“Tangle Teezer hairbrushes have changed my life. My hair’s really knotty and every day I seem to wake up with dreadlocks. Normal hairbrushes make it go all fluffy, but my friend gave me a Tangle Teezer, $16, and now I take it with me everywhere,” she laughed. © Cover Media
