Lana Del Rey reportedly spent seven hours at a hair salon recently.

The stunning songstress is famed for her lusciously long locks and regularly gets them tended to in order to keep them in perfect condition.

According to British newspaper The Sun, Lana spent a lengthy stint in the hairstylist's chair ahead of a show in France last week.

The 26-year-old singer was preparing for the Eurockéennes festival when she popped into an east London salon, where she spent seven hours.

Lana - who had her tresses cut and colored - also took the "occasional" cigarette break and "ate some sweets off the counter as the hairdresser worked his magic".

The beauty showed off the Sixties-style beehive style at the festival soon after.

Lana has been making waves in the fashion industry since her music breakthrough at the end of 2011.

It was recently revealed that the star is involved in H&M's newest advertisements, while earlier this year luxe label Mulberry dedicated a new handbag to the Vogue cover girl. © Cover Media
