David Beckham is "so excited" about his new underwear campaign.

The sports star has unveiled the new black and white shots to promote his H&M Bodywear collaboration with the retailer.

David also revealed a series of behind-the-scenes photographs to commemorate his second offering.

The hunky star is thrilled with the latest risqué images.

"I am so excited about this new campaign for David Beckham Bodywear at H&M," he explained in a statement.

"I wanted to express the strength and quality of the David Beckham Bodywear collection with these images and also the wearability and fit. I love the range and feel so comfortable in each of the pieces. It has become second nature for me to wear it!"

The smouldering pictures were shot in Los Angeles by acclaimed photographer Alasdair McLellan.

The collection will be stocked in H&M stores nationwide and online from August 23, and new pieces will be added to the range in November.

To celebrate David's latest offering, the retail giant has created nine 10-foot statues of the 37-year-old hunk. The underwear-clad figures are currently pleasing fans across major cities including New York, Los Angeles and San Francisco. © Cover Media
