Adele’s stylist: Stick to certain shapes

Adele’s stylist advises women to wear “dead cert” outfits when they are feeling down.

Los Angeles-based Gaelle Paul has been working with the British singer since 2009. Gaelle has styled Adele for music promos and her appearances at events such as the Grammy Awards.

Gaelle understands that women don’t always feel great about their appearance, so she advises her clients to rely on certain wardrobe staples.

“Everyone has off days when they feel bloated or not pretty. If that’s the case, I’ll choose a dead cert,” she told the UK edition of Glamour. “Something that’s demure, elegant, and that I know will fit. Then confidence gets built up, and you can try something less safe.”

Gaelle also spoke about the importance of understanding your body shape.

The fashion expert believes women can’t fail to impress if they follow some simple rules.

“We probably have two or three silhouettes we know we look fabulous in. Sometimes it’s fun to try something new, but those who I consider to have great style generally stick to the silhouettes that suit them,” she added. © Cover Media
