Designers took a sleek and simple approach to the Fall/Winter 2007 runway. The season's must-have looks: cheeky tomboy chic, retro girlie and sleek minimalist. The key pieces? Coats, tunics and ladylike pencil skirts.
"Pare it down and clean it up" was the message in a less-is-more direction with sober, sharp and chic dressing.

Retro glamour: Dressing up takes its cue from 40s and 50s Hollywood. Couture-inspired day suits, jewel-toned gowns, red lips and very high heels are the chicest way to make an entrance.

Leather: Leather, super-soft and luxurious, is back for the uptown set with high-tech finishes in metallic, glossy, embossed and matte.
