Following the numerous sexual harassment and assault allegations that have come to light over the past several months, actresses are wearing black on the Golden Globes red carpet. The move is also part of the new #TimesUp campaign, supported by hundreds of Hollywood women like Reese Witherspoon, Rashida Jones, Kerry Washington and Tessa Thompson (more on this here) which was set up to stand up to sexual harassment and inequality and to help provide legal and financial support (and the campaign just reached its $15 million fundraising goal). At ELLE Canada we aim to provide as-it-happens coverage of the Golden Globes red carpet, and we will continue to spotlight and celebrate the actresses, stylists and designers that are taking part.
