What are you wearing for the holidays?
This holiday season I'm all about sparkly details (like headbands), glamorous outerwear (like faux fur), metallic heels and of course lots of shiny jewelry! (See photo above.)

What's on your wish list?
I am lusting after Miu Miu's Harness Platform Booties, Celine's ladylike bags and almost every piece from Jennifer Myer's jewelry collection of dainty rings and necklaces.

What gifts (and to whom) are you giving this year?
I'm all about indulgent candles (Diptyque and Manuel Canovas are my faves) for my family, baked goods (like chocolate-covered orange peels) for friends and some house-related things for my boyfriend since we just moved into a new apartment.

How are you planning to spend the holidays?
I intend to get all of my shopping done before December 15th so I can indulge in all of the little things that make this time of year so special. I want to go ice-skating, bake holiday cookies, watch Christmas movies and spend time with those I love.

What item(s) can you not live without?
My sparkly skirts. You can dress them up or down (see my version of daytime sparkles and sparkles for weekday mornings) and they make a big statement with little effort.

What advice can you give ELLECanada.com readers about dressing for the holidays?
This is the time of year to break out all of your special pieces that typically hang out in the back of your closet. Whip out a bright red lipstick, get dressed up for casual drinks with girlfriends and invest in a classic clutch that will complete all of your party outfits. Oh, and make sure your heels have a substantial platform so that your feet aren't twisted into a gnarled claw by the end of the night. You want to be able to mingle and dance for hours without any pain!

What trends have you been seeing?
Lots of leopard, patent and faux fur.
