ELLE Canada Reception We toasted the first night of World MasterCard Fashion Week with a swish cocktail reception. The night treated the fashion elite to a live-stream of Beaufille and Pink Tartan’s runway shows, an exclusive right-off-the-runway Q&A with
Beaufille designers Chloe and Parris Gordon, hosted by our EIC Noreen Flanagan and cocktails, of course.
Raising brows at Pink Tartan "I always love how Kim Newport-Mimran kicks off her Pink Tartan show with an atmospheric mini fashion film. Last night’s movie also had one of the best lines of the night: ‘I was going to go out, but I decided to stay in and dye my brows.’ Amazing." – ELLE Canada executive editor, Laura deCarufel
Getting ‘Bumped’ at Holt Renfrew. Leave it to Holts to set a new standard for entertaining. Amidst a bevvy of cocktails, hors d’oeuvres  and fashion people alike, we found a masked duo hammering away on old school type writers. Who are these two? The Bumpys. A pair of performance artists who give whichever brave soul that steps up to be judged “fair and honest appraisal of your appearance". It’s like a sartorial report card. Yikes.
