1. The scene The 8 th floor of the Arcadian Court in downtown Toronto is a perfect venue for a fashion presentation. The crowd, which included Jeanne Beker and Monica Schnarre, sipped Stoli cocktails and munched on grilled cheese sandwiches and canapés while waiting for the Greta Constantine show to start (which began, as usual, very fashionably late!) As soon as the models finished their jaunt on the catwalk, a back wall was removed to reveal a loaded bar and hightop tables for post-show cocktails. 2. The looks "We're presenting our own vision of femininity," said designer Kirk Pickersgill in the shownotes. "It's tougher, darker, and in some ways menacing. While the silhouettes are more severe in some respects, a prettiness runs through the collection." This season, the Gretas ventured beyond their signature draped jersey dresses to include jumpsuits and ladylike frocks plus on-trend peplum detailing. Models’ hair was styled in faux-hawk ponytails with heavy, smoky eyes. The effect? Good-girl-gone-bad.

3. The company

Tonight I got to hang out with Amanda DiPasquale from Not a Model Blog who RT’d to win a front row seat in our Greta Constantine/Twitter contest. Not only is her website thoughtful and well-written, but she has wicked personal style. Thanks for being such a fun date, Amanda!
