It’s halfway into the official first day back at the office (or school, or you know, anywhere that isn’t your parents’ couch) and we’re already craving the chocolate and adult onesie that kept us warm over the holidays. But the new year is all about moving forward. So for inspiration and to keep us on track until at least the first week of 2015, we have Canadian designer Sarah Stevenson and her goals for the new year to stay motivated. They can help you too.
1. Make an investment: “I’m all about spending more money on
quality pieces I’ll have in
my closet for years.”
2. Add prints: “It’s a good way to bring colour into your wardrobe, especially in our
Canadian winters—you need some colour.”
3. Oh, and have fun: “I’m a bit of a workaholic, so I always try to take a step back and make time for family and friends. It’s a work-in-progress.”
