Food-based beauty products you don't have to make yourself.
If you primarily use your kitchen as a place to store utensils for your UberEats deliveries, it’s unlikely you’re the type to whip up homemade beauty products. These fruit-and vegetable-based face masks will add more nutrition to your life (if not to your diet).
When Lev Glazman, co-founder of Fresh Beauty, set out to make a brightening face mask, he used food-grade-level citrus fruits that contain powerful natural alpha-hydroxy acids (AHAs) to make up half of the ingredient list. Naturally sourced ingredients can also be antibacterial (honey), anti-inflammatory (blueberry extract) and even firming (green banana and thyme).
No time to mask, you say? Take your cue from Glazman, who says he masks while doing almost anything: “I drink tea, I watch TV,” he says. “My daughters and I love watching reruns of Sex and the City.” Count us in.

It looks like a pint of Guinness, tastes like a cold brew, and is only available in one Canadian Starbucks location—but it's not on the secret menu. So what is this mystery drink launching RN in Canada?
It's nitro coffee, which in terms of coffee trends is 2016's answer to 2015's obsession with pour over (and apparently an extension of our obsession with cold coffee in general, which Starbucks says is actually a growing part of our morning coffee order, even in the winter).
So what is it, and how is not just cold brew? Well, it is cold brew in the sense that it's based on the same intial process (steeping coffee for 20 hours in cold water) but then things get science-y when they infuse it with nitrogen. This is key because it's crisp and cold without any ice added, excellent news for anyone who's ever hated how watered down the end of your iced coffee sometimes tastes.
Nitro cold brew is currently only available at one location in Canada (Brookfield Place in Toronto) but word on the street is that they'll be rolling it out at more locations A-to-the-SAP.
He had a party. Taylor, Katy and John Mayer were there. Rihanna wasn’t.
On Sunday night, Champagne Papi rang in his 30th birthday by dropping four new tracks on OVO Sound Radio, and hosting a star-studded birthday celebration at Delilah’s restaurant in West Hollywood. A-list celebs like Taylor Swift, Katy Perry and John Mayer attended the fête (hopefully that wasn’t too awk), along with Jamie Foxx, French Montana and Zoë Kravitz. Sadly, there were no RiRi spottings.
Drizzy didn’t seem too bothered...especially when the 6ix God was treated to a signed photo from British singer Sade. (Drake is a longtime fan.)
Drake’s cake however, possibly stole the show, (not just because we are in the middle of a huge Halloween candy craving). The gorgeous three-tiered gateau featured baby pics of him and album artwork for his upcoming Apple Music playlist More Life.
"It really means a lot to me, everybody being here," Drizzy said in an Instagram video taken at the celebration. “The support that you give, night in and night out for the team that's with me every day..."
More life, Drizzy, we wish you all the best.
Jess, Dean and Logan are back.
Everyone stop what you are doing RN. Netflix has released the first real trailer for Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life.
This is two minutes and twenty-six seconds of Gilmore Girls bliss, with so-fast-you-may-miss-it pop-culture references from the mother-daughter duo, more junk food than an entire frat house could eat and all of our favourite characters (Sookie! Michel! Taylor!) back on screen.
As with all of the other Gilmore Girls teasers, this trailer leaves us with more questions than answers. We learn that Rory is living in New York or London, but why? Lorelai and Luke are together, but having problems? What's the deal with that mini-pig running around Stars Hollow? And why is Emily wearing a T-shirt????? This is too much.
Grab a giant mug of coffee and sit back and watch. Remember, you only have to get through the next 30 days before the actual show is here.
