On the runways or scribing the year in fashionable events in the blogosphere, Canadian fashion personalities have been good to us in 2012. So we’re heading home for the holidays with a few top Canadian designers, models and fashion bloggers this month to find out about their favourite memories and traditions this time of year – and we’ll be posting their responses every week throughout December. First up, what tops their wish list this season. Are you listening, Santa?
What’s on your wish list this year? "To be honest my wish list is quite short this year! But I have managed to come up with a few things I really want. For me, one thing I really want is a Gucci coat that will keep me warm during my travelling months for the next fashion week! I love the ones with the fur inside and on the hood – they look incredible and so warm too!"
—Dauphine, model, Elmer Olsen "I’d love a couple of cashmere sweaters in luxe bold hues to go with my favourite floral printed pencil skirts. I’ve got my eye on two V-neck styles, one in scarlet and the other in deep purple, from the men’s department at Holt Renfrew – an oversized fit is crucial. And no, I won’t be sharing them with my guy!"
—Lisa Tant, VP, fashion editor, Holt Renfrew "Getting my apartment ready for Christmas."
—Denis Gagnon, designer

"Success, lots of love and great friends. A trip to India in the spring, if I can fit it in my crazy schedule."
