Stylish switch-ups Toronto Fashion Week was sold to global event management firm this week, and Robin Kay has stepped down as the executive director after 13 years. IMG, who runs New York Fashion Week, bought the event for an undisclosed sum. Good news for Canadian designers! Let’s hope they keep the tents downtown at David Pecault Square, because in the past, getting to the Ex was a huge pain. [ Global] Verdict: Slow clap for new beginnings! The tales we weave Naomi Campbell had a bad hair day while on vacation in Ibiza. The 42-year-old beauty was photographed with a major case of the receding hairlines. ABC asked Florida hair surgeon Dr. Alan Bauman for his two cents, and he diagnosed her with traction alopecia—hair loss due to extensions. “Extensions, weaves, anything artificial hanging on hair—no matter whether you attach it with glue, special magnets, tape—it’s going to cause damage over time.” Hands up if you think Naomi should just shave her head altogether? She’s so beautiful she doesn’t need long hair. [ ABC News] Verdict: Single teardrop on my “Naomi hit me and I liked it” T-shirt. First comes love Natalie Portman married her ballet choreographer beau Benjamin Millepied last weekend. And everybody’s all “Aww aren’t they cute.” BUT remember when Millepied dumped his live-in ballerina girlfriend of three years Isabella Boylston for Portman? No? See, K-Stew, THAT’s how you handle a cheating scandal. [ Toronto Star] Verdict: Best of luck to the happy couple! Loca Lohan Lindsay Lohan tried to mean girl Francesca Eastwood (Clint’s daughter) out of her own birthday party last night. “Francesca was celebrating her birthday with around a dozen friends in a private area when Lindsay came over and started screaming that Francesca should leave,” says a snitch. “She was yelling ‘I’m a star, she’s a nobody, get her out of here!'” [ Us Weekly] Verdict: If you’re going to cause a scene, that’s a great thing to yell at someone. Clickety click RIP Anna Piaggi, plus: THIS meme [ Fashionista] Elton John called Madonna a fairground stripper and said that her career is over. He is brave, cause I for one wouldn't want to mess with Madge! [ Daily Mail] Jessica Simpson’s dadager got a DUI. [ TMZ] Everybody got excited for a bit that Mulder and Scully were in love in real life but then Mulder’s rep was like, “Sorry, folks.” [ Gawker] Amy Winehouse’s ex husband Blake Felder-Civil is in a coma after overdosing on drugs and hard booze. Sad. [ MTV] Dazed & Confused’s Azaelia Banks cover (the one where she blows up a huge pink condom like a balloon) has been banned in seven countries. Congrats? [ Huffington Post] Kourtney Kardashian made the cover of Us Weekly with her petite bébés. In other news, I caught that episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians where she witnessed a water birth and it was INTENSE. [ Us Weekly] And finally, a viral video to end your week: Watch Olympian Aly Raisman's parents as she performs. They are unintentionally hilarious. [ Gawker]
