Poor Pippa Somebody give Karl Lagerfeld a reality TV show! Our favourite outspoken fashion designer has struck again, this time commenting on the royal sister, Pippa Middleton. It all started innocently enough, when Lagerfeld said: “Kate Middleton has a nice silhouette, and she is right for that boy. I like that kind of woman, I like romantic beauties.” Things started to go downhill when he added, “On the other hand, her sister struggles. I don’t like her sister’s face. She should only show her back.” Poor Pippa! [NY Daily News] Verdict: Single tear down Pippa’s struggling face.

Dressed to Impress
Vanity Fair has released their annual “Best Dressed” list, and Kate Middleton has claimed the top spot. Other sartorial honorees include former ELLE Canada covergirl Jessica Chastain, Diane Kruger and loveable curmudgeons Bill Cunningham and Morley Safer. [

Verdict: Slow clap for any list that puts Bill Cunningham and Morley Safer together.
Designer blues In the most recent issue of
ELLE UK, 78-year old Giorgio Armani spoke candidly about the challenges of creating four collections a year. “I have sacrificed life. The life of a young man when I first started out and the life of a grown man at the age I am now.” Oh, that’s a bit sad, Giorgio Armani! (It gets worse). “It’s…very sad because life is all about friendships, discovering people’s personalities, falling in love, not just once or twice, but often. In a word, life. To live in the world.” [

Verdict: Single tear. Seriously, that’s so sad right?
