It’s time to bid
adieu to the in-and-out show culture of yesterday, friends. The next-gen movement of fashion is all about exclusivity, interactivity and enviable immersion. For Dior’s 2016 Resort show, Raf Simons and his team swept fashion’s elite to the media mecca of Cannes, where bloggers and the socially-savvy gave us a taste of what we were missing via Snapchat, an outlet that seems to be trumping Instagram with its intoxicatingly candid captures. Here are some of the exclusive moments you missed when you weren’t watching:
Zoe Kravitz DJ-ing in real-time: Her outfit sparkled through the night as hoards of dewy bodies danced along with the It-girl’s impeccably spun offerings; the "scale-like" cutouts of her top evoked a sort of mermaid-chicness, topped with a boho septum piercing and waist-length locks.
