And by 'escape' we actually mean representing his grandmother on a tour of some Commonwealth countries.
Prince Harry's escaping the November gloom for a little pre-Christmas fun in the sun.
The redheaded royal is off on a solo tour of Antigua, Barbuda, St Kitts, St Lucia and (stop to catch breath) St Vincent and the Grenadines, Barbados, Grenada and finally Guyana. He'll be island hopping between November 20 and December 4.
Last time the royal went to the Caribbean we got this picture, so...lots to look forward to, friends.
Jess, Dean and Logan are back.
Everyone stop what you are doing RN. Netflix has released the first real trailer for Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life.
This is two minutes and twenty-six seconds of Gilmore Girls bliss, with so-fast-you-may-miss-it pop-culture references from the mother-daughter duo, more junk food than an entire frat house could eat and all of our favourite characters (Sookie! Michel! Taylor!) back on screen.
As with all of the other Gilmore Girls teasers, this trailer leaves us with more questions than answers. We learn that Rory is living in New York or London, but why? Lorelai and Luke are together, but having problems? What's the deal with that mini-pig running around Stars Hollow? And why is Emily wearing a T-shirt????? This is too much.
Grab a giant mug of coffee and sit back and watch. Remember, you only have to get through the next 30 days before the actual show is here.
Also, check out this new art for the show with Emily in boss mode:

Today, The Met announced the theme of the next Costume Institute exhibition, set for Spring 2017. The exhibition will focus on Rei Kawakubo of Comme des Garçons. The exhibit will explore the designer's relationship with the concepts of beauty and good taste, and the fine line between fashion and anti-fashion. It's only the Met's second exhibit of a living designer's work, the other displayed designs by Yves Saint Laurent in 1983. As always, the theme of the exhibition will carry through to the Met Gala. We can already picture the avant-garde looks to be donned by Gigi, Bella and Kendall come May.
After filling their front row with an assortment of young It Girls and Guys this season, Dolce & Gabbana is still hanging with the cool crowd for their Spring/Summer campaign.
Stylish stars like Zendaya, YouTube sensation Cameron Dallas, and Cindy Crawford’s model son Presley Gerber modeled in the streets of Capri in looks from the new collection, and we have serious FOMO.
Alert: there’s more RiRi merch to get your hands on. The singer has launched her fourth collection in collaboration with Stance socks, and this one may be the best yet.
Called the Japan Collection, the socks feature gorgeous Geisha and lotus flower inspired illustrations.
We also can’t get over LA artist Bijou Karman’s paintings of RiRi as a geisha gal for the campaign.
Grab a pair at stance.com.
Artist Anicka Yi became the 11th winner of the Hugo Boss Prize in recognition of her achievements in contemporary art.
The award, which celebrates its 20th anniversary this year, comes with a $100,000 prize from the Guggenheim Foundation, and a solo exhibition at the Guggenheim museum in New York in April 2017.
We have our first teaser of Lady Gaga's 'Carpool Karaoke' and it looks...aggressive.
The minute-long clip starts with an acapella rendition of of 'Move, Get Out the Way', and then proceeds to a re-enactment of the Gaga's 'will you do the Superbowl pls' phone call.
In between all that we have an incredible lame pussy-bow blouse and a perhaps even more awe-inspiring cat eye.
And guys, this is just the teaser! Tune into the Late Show with James Corden tonight for the whole deal.
