To answer this beauty question, I went to Melissa Gibson, makeup artist for M.A.C cosmetics for her best holiday beauty tips. Here's her advice:
There are so many options for Holiday make up. It's the time to have fun and make your face face shine! Try adding a silver or bronze iridescent power to the high planes of the face to add sheen. A smoky eye in blacks, greys or golds is always popular around the holiday season. Use your darkest colours closest to the lash line fading into lighter highlight colours on the brow bone. For true glamour though, don't be afraid of False Lashes. If you've never worn them before try using half lashes that apply to the outer corner of the eye only. They lift the eye and add a sense of drama to your overall look. For those a little fearful of make up, keep it all simple and finish with a stain of red or fuchsia on the lips. A fantastic look while celebrating the season!
