Don't we all wish we looked a little bit taller? Some wish to even be as tall as a model, but for many it's just not physically possible. But, we can trick the eye into thinking we are taller! I asked my fiend Cher Rowe (Marketing Manager) from the fabulous store Mills Brothers in Halifax, for her expertise. Here's what she had to say:
The best way to look taller is to wear monochromatic clothing, it will help you not only look taller, but slimmer as well. Pinstripe suits will make you look taller because the stripes will elongate the body. As for dresses, choose one that stops just above the knee -- this will give the illusion of longer, leaner legs. Keep your outfits simple and fitted. You don't want to look like you're swimming in your clothes (this would make you look shorter, rather than taller!). Try to purchase petite sizes that follow these ideas and you should be good to go.
