What are some of the must-haves for my summer wardrobe?

Susan Langdon of Toronto Fashion Incubator helped us out with this question. Here's some of her expert fashion advice:

"When it's 30+ celsius and humid, there's nothing better than a breezy summer dress. Look for a loose cut in organic cotton or bamboo for maximum comfort and style. Toronto design label Juma offers several easy-to-wear dresses in organic cotton jersey that are adorable. Many of the dresses feature hemline interests such as gathering, drawstring or folds.

The little summer dress also looks great in a tropical or large floral print. New for spring is the billowing caftan in soft, flowing silk - this is fabulous for a summer black-tie event. Designer Joeffer Caoc showed gorgeous, one-shouldered caftans in bright candy shades at his runway show.

Other must-haves for summer include the gladiator sandal, softly draped Grecian dresses and tops (check out www.malakbykalamlee.com) and anything in a bright cheery colour or with a metallic sheen."
