What accessories should I invest in for spring/summer?

We turned to Susan Langdon of Toronto Fashion Incubator. Here's what she had to say about this season's must-have accessories:
"In economic times such as now when people are considering their purchases more carefully, accessories provide a quick pick-me-up to brighten and update any outfit. I particularly favour big, bold necklaces and I find that they make great investments. I have several Miriam Haskell vintage necklaces from the '80's that look just as great today as they did back then.
Some of my recent purchases this season include a gold and lucite necklace from Toronto designer Susie Love and a silver with lucite chain necklace from Montreal designer Marie Saint Pierre.
What I really love to find though, are accessories that can be worn in a variety of ways. For example, I sometimes wear my gorgeous chain belts as necklaces and they look great! I have several from belt designer Suzy Roher that I wear around my neck and I always get compliments! You might want to consider adopting some of these ideas to update your fashion look this season."
