I wear sunscreen on my face everyday and have been unable to find a foundation with more than SPF 15. Could you advise me as to the proper order I should be applying my sunscreen, moisturizer and foundation?

We turned to Annesley Broadhead of Cargo Cosmetics to help us out with this question. Here's what she said:

"That is such a great question and one that many women have this time of year. Because it is so hard to find a foundation with a high spf, I usually recommend finding a good facial suncreen to wear under your foundation. The other problem with using an spf foundation is that unless you use a full coverage all over your face you may not be getting adequate protection from the sun. As you may be able to tell by now I am a strong advocate of using a seperate sunscreen! Ask any ageless beauty and she will tell you that her secret is sunscreen! In terms of the order of application I would suggest that you begin with a light moisturizer, your sunscreen and then your foundation. Allow the sunscreen to absorb well prior to applying any make-up. Another little tip is to mix a bit of your sunscreen in with your foundation to customize your own tinted moisturizer perfect for Summer."
