We turned to Susan Langdon from Toronto Fashion Incubator to help us out with this question. Here's what she said:
"Look for a semi-fitted, tailored pant suit in a flat, smooth fabric that's trans-seasonal. The jacket should have vertical side darts or princess panel seaming to ensure a flattering, feminine cut through the waistline. Choose a jacket length that suits your height. A jacket that ends about 6 inches below the waist is very flattering for most women because it's long enough to hide the tummy but short enough to show off the shape of your booty."
