I am keen on donating money toward a great cause. Where can I find cool, hip clothing where I know the proceeds go to a charity/donation of some sort? I'd love to shop for a cause!

Hey, we may be shopaholics, but that doesn't mean we don't care. I asked Barbara Atkin, fashion director at style mecca Holt Renfrew, for some ideas for this ELLE Canada reader. She says:

"Holt Renfrew will be carrying a collection from Copenhagen for Spring '07 called Noir; they believe strongly in corporate social responsibility and they design with fair-trade cotton from Africa. Oqoqo, a Canadian retailer, works with organic fibres, and Bono's denim line, Edun, gives a portion of its sales to developing industry in Africa.

"In the next decade there will be more collections that will speak to this new consciousness, so be on the lookout and ask questions of the retailers that you do business with."
