I have large pores on my nose and chin — are there any products or treatments I can do to help make them look smaller?

Some things are just in your genetics and pore size is one of them, But with the help of Toronto-based dermatologist Dr. Benjamin Barankin for tips on how to make pores appear smaller.

Pore size is genetic, so improvements are modest. Pore strips like those made by Biore reduce the "appearance" of pores, but not the physical size. Oral contraceptive pills and isotretinoin (Accutane) can be quite helpful, as can topical vitamin A creams. Chemical peels, microdermabrasion and some lasers can also improve the appearance of pore size, so best to speak with your dermatologist for your specific needs.
