Invest in great shoes that are either bold in colour or detailed so that it makes the jeans stand out a little more. Also, there's so much fun and funky costume jewelery out there that you don't have to spend a fortune to really make that t-shirt pop.
T-shirts can be worn under fitted blazers or even cardigan sweaters to look a little more pulled together. Or women can wear my personal favourite, the sweater jacket that looks fashionable yet keeps you warm!
