How can I balance out my small hips but larger thighs? Are there any styles I should avoid?

We turned to Katherine Vong from Nygard to help us with this question. Here's what she had to say:

"Waist detail, wider waistbands, and a belt slung at the hips all work to
draw eyes away from the thighs and create the illusion of wider hips. The
season's wide leg pant is especially perfect for your body type. Look for
one that is wide directly from the waist to hem and fits without tugging
around your thighs. If they are too big at the waist and hips, have them
tailored rather than choosing a smaller size.

Avoid too-tight skinny pants and printed or patterned styles - they will only emphasize the size of your
legs. Full and flouncy skirts are also ideal for hiding the thighs and look
great in the Summer. Try bright, printed, or embellished skirts with an
A-line shape. Bianca Nygård's Leaf Print Ribbon Tie Skirt is a fantastic example."
