Unfortunately, clothes aren't one-size-fits-all -- so often, you need to find the brand and style that are made for your shape. I asked Veronica Auyeung of Yorkville boutique Over the Rainbow for advice on finding jeans when you've got curves. She says:
"To bring out the best in your womanly shape, look for stretch denim that sits just above your hips or something with a contoured waistband. This fit will prevent the panty-exposing gap when you sit.
"Go for a sexy boot cut to balance out your curves with a denim that perfectly hugs your hips and thighs. Do not go for baggy jeans or relaxed-fitting jeans as they will turn your curviness into chunkiness.
"Some brands to try include Silver, 1921 and Citizens of Humanity."
